International House, Woolwich Arsenal completed
19/04/2011
International House, ASRA’s new residential development and part of the current regeneration in the Woolwich Arsenal area, handed over on 13th April, three months ahead of programme.
Silver has provided a multidisciplinary role for this scheme, designed by Alan Camp Architects and constructed by Mulalley & Company Ltd .
International House replaces the site of a disused hostel and derelict houses, creating 116 one, two and three bedroom apartments for Intermediate Rent/Shared Ownership and general rent, including 12 units for wheelchair users, spread over two multi-storey blocks with an underground car park. The new scheme also has a number of biodiversity attributes with the inclusion of swallow and bat boxes, and planting in the landscaped areas to encourage diverse wildlife, including butterflies and insects.
Tenants are due to start into their new homes during the week commencing 18th April.
