Many congratulations to Martin Ward, our Senior Site Inspector on his selection by the ICWCI for this year's Building on Quality Award. Martin was nominated by Bradleigh Coker of GallifordTry for his work on the Elmgrove Point project. Silver were appointed as Employer's Agent and Quality Control Inspector by our client, ASRA Greater London Housing Ltd and the project completed ahead of programme in June 2010 with zero defects.

Bradleigh says of Martin's contribution: "Martin was always very thorough with his inspections but always discussed any issue he found so that they could be resolved as quickly and as efficiently as possible, without delaying works on site. Martin always considered our programme of works to ensure he was able to inspect installations and materials before they were covered by the following trades. His construction input greatly contributed to the success of the project."

Martin said that he "encountered excellent team spirit throughout the project at Elmgrove Point and a positive working relationship developed with Brad and his team at GallifordTry. Everyone had pride in the scheme and attaining zero defects reflects our efforts perfectly."

The winners will be announced at the Awards lunch on 17th November.
