Multidisciplinary services for redevelopment of Grade II Listed Hammersmith & Fulham Town Hall

This mixed use development is a joint venture between Hammersmith & Fulham Council and A2Dominion to redevelop the west side of King Street.

The redevelopment of the Grade II Listed Hammersmith & Fulham Town Hall incorporates a two storey glass extension on top of the Town Hall, complete refurbishment of council’s existing offices space, demolition of the adjacent existing Town Hall extension and construction of approximately 205 dwellings, 10,000m2 of office space and 1,500m2 of retail space across three 5 storey blocks. This scheme will also offer a 250 seat basement cinema, office space for business start-ups and a new arts quarter alongside new cafes, shops and restaurants.

We were appointed as Development Managers, Project Managers and Cost Consultants during the pre-construction phase. We managed the entire planning process, including design consultant management until stage 4. We undertook the two stage tender process, appointing a main contractor under two PCSAs. We also managed the Development Appraisal on behalf of the clients and produced numerous iterations during this stage to ensure the scheme’s budget was maintained.

We are currently in the construction phase, acting as Employer’s Agent, Cost Consultants and Site Inspector for both the Town Hall and New Build Contracts.
