Silver have provided project management and site inspection services for the demolition and redevelopment of a former warehouse and call centre, to deliver a new eight storey building (plus basement), incorporating 39 apartments above three storeys of high quality, flexible office accommodation.
Pre-Contract, our project management team supported the planning application process and, following securing of a planning consent, led the design management to RIBA Stage 4. Our scope included associated cost planning, in addition to the assembly of a construction method statement, logistics, and programme planning. We led on the Contract negotiations on behalf of the Client, resulting in a successful agreement with the Contractor. Subsequent to this, we provided project management services for the build, including the coordination of the handover process.
We managed the design and build of the office fit out with a separate Contractor to part Category A and part Category B standards to three floors including basement level.
The Party Wall team were also appointed and have negotiated all adjoining owner licence requirements, and acted as Building Owners Surveyor in discharging our client’s duties under the Party Wall etc Act 1996.
