At our Business Planning Day, we were excited to unveil a series of new green initiatives that align to our vision of future-proofing our projects.
We have a bold target to plant the equivalent number of trees to offset our operational carbon along with other recycling and carbon reduction measures we are implementing across our business. For this year, our ambitious goal is to plant 1620 trees that will kick-start our very own Silver forest. We have already planted 365 trees, representing the collective years of service of our dedicated employees. Each year, we’ll proudly commemorate the anniversary of every employee by planting another tree and keep our forest growing.
Here is what the positive impact of the 365 trees we’ve planted provides:
- 39.78 tonnes of CO2 absorbed, contributing to mitigating climate change.
- 3 workdays created for local communities, fostering social responsibility.
- 584.00m2 of land reforested, nurturing biodiversity and ecosystems.
